First in the series of my small tribute projects to showcase my admiration for some iconic mechas. Be it Voltron, Megazinger, Gundam, Macross or many many others, I’ve always been fascinated with how such machinery can exist in their respective worlds and fit so well.

White Glint is a legendary mech that appears in Armored Core 4 (and AC: For Answer) and is dubbed as Line Ark’s “greatest military asset”. At first piloted by Joshua O’Brien and later by the protagonist of the sequel game.

I always try to come up with interesting real life like situations that make these art pieces more believable. I will be adding more eventually, as I come up with more stories.

Air was crisp, the night was young, his rig locked down, snacks ready and he was all ready for an all-night timelapse. He was in the zone, hoping to capture some amazing long exposure car light trails zipping through the miles long streets of the city. Hands trembling, heart hammering, still barely holding on to the railing he regained some composure. Enough to remember his camera… It never moved, of course, absolutely fine. “Solid,” he muttered in disbelief. Later, when reviewing the footage did he find one frame amongst many. One frame, sharp, impossible proof. The noise and wind weren’t just some bad weather. It was a massive mech tearing through the cityscape. It was but a glint…
